PECAN CAPITAL OF THE WORLD (2026)
Brunswick is the pecan capital of Missouri - but Brunswick's residents would tell you it's the pecan capital of the world. Inspired by the work of Les Blank, PECAN CAPITAL OF THE WORLD looks at Brunswick's commitment to its annual pecan festival, and how Brunswick's residents  find ways to build community in rural America. The film is constructed with vignettes of Brunswick's residents as the festival goes on, slowly revealing the ways in which pecans bring the town together.
